JAMIE LOMAS LANDS SUMMER FASHION CAMPAIGN

04 July 2018

Actor, Jamie Lomas, 43, has landed his first fashion campaign, six months after his appearance on hit TV show, I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!

As part of an ongoing relationship, menswear retailer Jacamo has signed the Manchester born star to front the campaign for its Summer 2018 collection, which includes swimwear and smart-casual wear.

Jacamo promotes inclusivity for all men, and is also a size specialist retailer catering for men of all body shapes and sizes from small to 5XL.

Keeping in line with Jacamo’s northern heritage, the campaign was shot in Blackpool with a colourful background setting that complimented the summer range.

Jamie said: “Taking part in a modelling shoot was a nice change from acting. The team were great which made it a fun shoot to be involved in. Plus, you can’t help but have a good time in Blackpool… I even went into the sea – it was not as warm as it looks! Being a Manchester lad, it’s great to be working with Jacamo, a brand which originates from the same city as me.”

Discussing his fashion tastes, Jamie added: “I’d describe my style as quite simple, but I must admit, the shoot encouraged me to have a play round with outfits that I wouldn’t usually wear – such as white jeans or the  patterned twinset. But I loved all the different looks and  It all came home with me and is already packed for my next holiday.”

Jamie, who is in the best shape of his life, can be seen modelling hero pieces from the summer range which include Flamingo printed swim shorts, Flintoff by Jacamo print shirt, and the Jacamo Buddy shirt. The range is perfect for those who after causal day wear or looking for something a little jazzier for the beach.

Jenni Bamford from Jacamo said: “As part of our ongoing relationship with Jamie, having him front our Summer 2018 campaign felt like the perfect match. He looks great and we really wanted to champion this and show off how the range really is for men of any age, any size and for  any occasion.”

Since leaving the jungle as runner up at the end of last year, Jamie has been working on many projects including setting up his own acting school JLA (Jamie Lomas Associates) - a dedicated agency representing Actors and Creatives in Film, Television, Comedy and Musical Theatre.
