N Brown Group plc, the direct home shopping company, announces that in line with the Group's strategy to dispose of non-core businesses and focus on driving growth in the core home shopping business it has sold the debtor book of House of Stirling, its door to door selling operation, for £5.59m. A programme of activity to formally close the business will now commence.
