N Brown Group plc, the Manchester-based direct catalogue home shopping company, announces the appointment of Lord Stone of Blackheath as a Non-Executive Director. Lord Stone will join the Group's main board with immediate effect.
Lord Stone has considerable retail experience having joined Marks & Spencer plc as a trainee in 1966 and working in the Company's merchandise division until he retired as joint Managing Director of the Company in 1999.
