N Brown Group plc announces the appointment of Mike Bullas as an Executive Director with effect from Monday 7th July 2003.
Mike Bullas, who recently joined the group as Merchandise Director, has had a very successful career in home shopping and retail and most recently was the Trading Director of The Peacock Group plc.
The Board confirms that no other disclosures need to be made under Rule 16.4 of the Listing Rules in respect of this appointment.
N Brown Group plc also announces the resignation of Robert Youngjohns as a Non-Executive Director with effect from today. Robert Youngjohns was recently promoted to Executive Vice-President of Global Sales at Sun MicroSystems in California, USA. As a consequence he has reluctantly informed us of his decision to step down from the Board. The Board wishes to thank Robert for his considerable contribution.
