Clothing recycling

Encouraging customers to recycle unwanted clothing

LeafletAW 2014 darkgrey

N Brown has partnered with the charity Traid www.traid.org.uk to encourage customers to recycle unwanted clothes rather than send them to landfill.

N Brown is sending out 250,000 bags to customers with orders with the option of returning them to the charity free of charge via the courier network. The charity then sells on these clothes in a network of stores with all profits going back to countries where the garments were originally made. This year customers have donated 3,168 kg of unwanted clothing reducing carbon emissions by 43.4 tonnes.
