The home shopping business provides a well established tradition of offering an extensive range of value for money products and offers via a number of trading titles, through its principal subsidiary J D Williams. Our wide and growing portfolio of catalogue brands is focused on different segments of our customer base targeted by age. The ranges of products offered are principally womenswear, menswear, footwear, household and electrical products.

We regularly contact our customers with specialist brochures aimed at meeting their needs, after recognising their personal preferences and buying patterns. The range of products on offer has increased through the development of our home and leisure lines.

The division operates via a number of channels to market being catalogue, telephone, internet, door-to-door, publications and television. These various channels have been developed over a number of years and are continually enhanced as technology develops through further investment.

The division has over two million established active customers. The continuing developments in its database management systems enable the business to materially improve its ability to match customers with offers of the right products and services. It also provides a variety of flexible credit plans to enable customers to manage the cost of their purchases more effectively.
